She wants to walk in a field of flowers 
Try to see animals in the clouds

She wants to sing and dance in a warm summer rain 
Her excitement in the simple things she cannot feign 

There is a Girl within my soul- 
Instead of frozen yogurt she wants a banana split 
In disappointing times she wants to stomp in a fit 

There is a Girl within my soul- 
In frustrating times she wants to call things "stupid" 
Maybe even tell someone a little fib 

There is a Girl within my soul- 
To meet her, you must be privileged 
And share your most bestest wishes
