Cold Wind Out Tonight

There's a cold wind blowin' this evening,
Tears they tumble on down,
All for the fact that he left her,
A mother and child alone.

There's a cold wind blowin' this evening,
Blue moon she's on the rise,
A long lost look from the mother,
And tears in her baby's eyes.

Bye, Bye daddy I miss you,
Sad that you had to go,
Don't know what I had done you,
Sad you're missing me grow.
Bye, Bye daddy I love you,
I hope you make it all right,
For all I know is for certain,
There's a cold wind blowin' tonight.

Daddy you gone and left me,
You had to be on your own.
The one thing that am I knowing,
Is how I'm feeling alone.
You see I don't understand it,
Why you left me this way,
I pray to the Gods up above me,
Won't you please make him stay.

Bye, Bye daddy I miss you,
Sad that you had to go,
Don't know what I had done you,
Sad you're missing me grow.
Bye, Bye daddy I love you,
I hope you make it all right,
For all I know is for certain,
There's a cold wind blowin' tonight.

I know dear daddy I'm too young,
But how the night's getting cold,
Momma, she is still crying
She's lost her lover to hold.
So why is my daddy leaving,
So please dear lord tell me why?
Daddy left in the night time,
and dad he never said bye.

Bye, Bye daddy I miss you,
Sad that you had to go,
Don't know what I had done you,
Sad you're missing me grow.
Bye, Bye daddy I love you,
I hope you make it all right,
For all I know is for certain,
There's a cold wind blowin' tonight.
